Originating in the 13th century, the clan took its name from the Norman family "de Ros," meaning "of the promontory." The Roses established themselves at Kilravock Castle, which has been the clan's seat since 1460.

how ordering trews works
Choose a tartan. We have over 250 available. Take some simple measurements. If you don't have a tape measure, order a tartan sample and measuring pack. This includes a measuring guide and a tape.

Place your order and after checkout, email us with your measurements. Make sure to include your order number.
Sit back and relax. Once you receive your trews, if you need any adjustments, we can reimburse the cost of alterations.
