Rattray (Ancient)
your tartan, your story
The Rattray clan, originating from Perthshire in Scotland, is one of the country's oldest families with a heritage dating back to the 11th century. The clan's name is derived from the lands of Rattray, which means "fortress town" in Gaelic. Known for their tenacity and courage, the Rattrays were prominent in Scotland's turbulent history, particularly during the Wars of Scottish Independence.
