The name "Clark" originates from the Latin word "clericus," meaning a scribe or a person of religious orders. The surname first appeared in England and Scotland in the 12th century. In Scotland, the Clark clan was part of the Clan Chattan, a confederation of clans in the Highlands.

how ordering trews works
Choose a tartan. We have over 250 available. Take some simple measurements. If you don't have a tape measure, order a tartan sample and measuring pack. This includes a measuring guide and a tape.

Place your order and after checkout, email us with your measurements. Make sure to include your order number.
Sit back and relax. Once you receive your trews, if you need any adjustments, we can reimburse the cost of alterations.
